This piece started as an automatic drawing. I was playing with repetative shapes in ink, and it began to look like a strange mountain. I was also on a kick where I was doing these strange armature structures. The hollow structures were drawin in pencil, outlined in ink - the negative spaces filled in, and then the pencil was erased.
